Default transmission that would fit a fifth gen lude

i have a fifth gen prelude non-sh (base model) with a 5 spd. i blew my tranny this past weekend and am not able to find a new one. so i was wondering what other tranny would fit. like the h23 or the f22 tranny would fit? any help on this would be glady appreciated.

i really appreciate it. now the hard part is to finding one of those tranny here in houston. still cant believe my tranny blew really sucks

so i 94-95 accord 5 spd tranny would mount up no problem reusing my old tranny mount. if so then that would be awesome b/c i found me an f22 tranny for $250

Would these trannies still work properly f22. h22. h23, f23? I may be needing a new one, cause my bell housing has a hole in it

Actually, yes you will have to drill and tap the factory bosses on the f22 tranny casing to use the Prelude mount. (depending on the year)

just JB weld a piece of aluminum over it

I have a 2001 so would that involve drilling?
