Looking for information on NON-JDM DC5R
im searching for information, or hyperlinks where i can go and read about the integra type R's available around the world. any information is greatly appreciated. i am forced to do my own research as the dealership here in kuwait carries no brochures on it as its a special order.
thanks for your reply.
thanks for your reply.
thats just the thing, they place the order and they dont know whats comming. id love to have JDM, but what may arrive is euro, or aussie. all the hondas here are euro models.
There are no Euro DC5Rs. All the ones in Europe are imported models. DC5Rs were only sold in Japan and Australia and the Australian model is just a TypeS with the ITR looks, as far as engine is concerned.

Yes for this model year, Honda of Australia dropped the R badging and appropriately started to use the S badge, since the car really wasn't a R to begin with and I believe they took alot of flak from buyers down under, because they were expecting a true R. The S is still a good car, but to be suckered in thinking you were getting a R, but really only got the Recaro seats, NH-0 paint and the body kit is pretty shabby on Honda of Australias part. If you are ordering brand new, yes expect a real one from Japan. And be prepared to GRIN on a constant basis if you DRIVE, really drive the car.
