electroluminescent guage cluster wiring from 93 prelude analog
Does anyone have wiring diagrams or some experience to share about how to do a conversion to the digital cluster from the stock 93 harness.
If it helps, I am very knowledgeable in electrical circuits and wiring diagrams.
Thanks for any help.

I just happened to replace my gauges yesterday due to a blown circuit board, I will take some pics of the old one for you in a sec, and here is a pic of the final project if you wanted to see, I think that it looks really good. http://img.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpg
I will have some pics up of the wiring in a second

here is a picture of the inverter that you will need

notice that the case for the inverter isnt wrapped with anything, MAKE SURE that you have it wrapped with some sort of insulator, because that is what went wrong with my origional gauges, so keep that in mind.
here is a pic of the one of the plugs that will go into the inverter,

the other two plugs come directly from the gauges, and If you have any knowledge at all about the swap, then you will have no problem finding the right ones and plugging them in, im pretty sure that they are all different sizes so you couldnt mess it up if you wanted to. there are lots of other wires to connect within the gauge assembly, but as long as you are buying the gauges alrealy assembeled, all you should have to do is connect the EL invertor to your stock wiring, and then the inverter to the gauges. I dont think that you will have any problem, but if you do, I can help you out

Thanks for the superquick pictures and info. I already have the guages and the power inverter. I have tried to plug them in in the past. They didn't work and not all of the connectors were filled. I think my harness may be different, is that true or not?
Thanks
Thanks
can you take a picture of what your inverter looks like, and what holes are left unplugged, maybe I can help you out a little, and also if you can take a picture of inside your dash of the wires that you plug into the inverter from inside the car? thanks

no problem, If anybody needs ANY pic of any part of the gauges, or any of the related parts, I have EVERY part layed out on the tool bench in the garage right now, so It would be no problem for me to take a quick pic of anything that you guys need

-The Bottom left is a picture of the remaining factory connector that doesn't plug into the cluster. It is next to the remaining two plug holes in the cluster that aren't yet being used. There are four wires in that connector.

Thanks anyone, for any help you can give me for my 93 digital conversion.
