spark racing pistons vs. topline
Like the title says Spark Racing ITR spec pistons vs. Topline ITR spec pistons...
Id like to hear the good and the bad...experiences, reccomendations, etc..

well just to say that i used the topline pistons and they completly fucked my block up, the rings didnt hold in place, seemed like the rings where to small for the fitting. TOPLINE gets a
from me, AND I did 2 identical blocks, standard size bored over to .20 (topline) and a .25 over bore on OEM itr pistons...did both at the same time, started booth motors in seperate cars at the same time, the topline motor smoked so i took it apart and check out the sleeves, completly scratched to hell, 3 of the rings on the topline pistons broke (oil control) but they did hold all the compression. thats my 2 cents

hmmm thats funny I am running toplines and my car smokes like a bitch. maybe something to check...

Well. Spark Racing pistons are really Safety pistons, which are pretty good quality. Safety is good product. The rings in the topline sets are Hastings I believe, which are an ok ring.
