What size tire will fit on my stock 14's?
Hello gentlemen. I've got a question and this is the best place to ask.
I'm buying some new rubber for my 97 Civic with factory wheels, I'm too paranoid to have nice wheels anymore, but I want something nicer than the stock BF Goodrich 185/65-14. I'd also need them to be all season, as I live in Ohio where it still snows a couple feet in the winter. What sizes would fit my stock wheels? I'd like to get a set of 55-14, but am unsure of how wide the tire would safely fit on the rim, ya dig?
Any price range is fine. I prefer Falkens, but I'd like to hear some other oppinions too. Thanks guys! -Lew
FYI- The civic is lowered with Tein coilovers and no rice. And I'm in a several bands that play out every weekend. And leaving my car on the street with my old 5Zigen wheels made me paranoid, so I'm done with wheels. Too many thieves...
