I am 5'9" tall and about 170 lbs with an athletic build. What size jacket would be good for me?? I want a alpinestar jacket but the local shops don't have a* leathers.

 

You should try on a jacket before you buy it. But you're probably a 52 euro 42 us.

 

I just got a new jacket. none of the shops here had A* as well. So i just tried on all the other brands. Once you get a size down most of them were a close in fit.

Between all the motorcycle shops arround here, not a single one carries a leather sportbike jacket. I've only seen Icon and Joe Rocket textiles. I need a decent dealership.

How built are you? I wear a 42 and I'm 5'11 and 160 lbs and it's slighty big on me. He's only 10 pounds heavier so I would assume a 42 would be good on him, because I know I'm able to fit a 40 which I'm going to get for my next jacket.

Maybe you're a 46 EURO

I'm 6' 195lbs and I fit in a 52 Euro / 42 USA perfectly from A*

 

just make sure its not to loose that it will flap in the wind because it will rip ... i got mine a lil to big and the shoulders are to big...
