hey i got a lsvtec with a pr3 ecu with a mugen chip..it has a hint of spark knock below 3500rpm or so...what should i set my base timeing at ??? 14,16 or 18 degrees?????????????????

what octane you running, I have always been confused with burned chips and how they claim they advance timing cause I used to run my distributor at 22 degrees advanced on a Skunk2 ECU, never had problems with 91 octane.
