Sounds good to me. The clutch an alternator shouldn't be more than 500 or so. As long as the body is straight, motor runs good, and there isn't a ton of rust it should make a good beater.

If you do it your self. It will be way under 500. Clutch cost like what 150? max? Then Transmission Fluid. Are the Axles ok?

Yeah but it needs an alternator too. So like maybe 200 for an alternator plus 150 for a clutch. I am sure it will need some other stuff. So expect to dump around 500 in it to get it running.

I get enough deals on cars.

I'm telling him not to buy it because the more people that buy sedans, the more popular they get, the harder parts are to find, and the most importantly...the cost of parts rise.

Tell your friends to stay away from them!

dont buy it. its a piece of ****. once the clutch is gone your torque converter is wrecked for life and you MAY have to end up welding your rear differential to the steering wheel just to get it working right again. You better give me this guys number so I can chew em out for trying to jip a fellow H-T member
