problem with toda header
What is the deal with this header? I've searched around for an hour and cannot find the info I need.
I took this header to a local exaust shop to try and buy a flange for the exaust, and he did not have anything that would fit it. Does this thing require a 3" pipe? If not, will someone please explain to me how a 2 1/2" flange will fit this thing?

Well, thanks for the info. I guess the guy I took it to was a complete idiot, or he really didn't have the correct flanges. Do you have to have a flared flange, or does the actual exaust pipe have to be flared?
go to jhpusa.com and buy the OEM 2.5 donut for the JDM ITR header and while your there buy the Omni 2.5" test pipe, youll probably spend a little more than $100 cause I think the donut is like $25 and the test pipe is $80, it will be worth your time then to try to have a exhaust shop make you something.
there is a dohnut on there all ready... if you dont want to buy/use a testpipe.. you can buy something like this from http://inlinefour.com/25incolflan.html

I flare the tubing to fit over the donut, like in my test pipes.

Then I use a floating flange, since not all headers position their collector flange the same way.
IM me if you have further questions.

I used that as well for awhile, and Dave makes great stuff. Silly to say so for a test pipe, but that's the way it is
