Question about a used Automatic Japanese Transmission for a 99 Integra LS.
Well the automatic transmission on my 99 Integra LS went out at 88k miles (five months after buying it! UGH!) Anyway, I purchased a used transmission from Attarco.Com with 40k miles, after a bit of inconvienence due to them sending me the wrong transmission TWICE, I finally got it, had it installed and such... Saved myself about 1300$ in the process, as opposed to having it rebuilt. Anyhue my question is, ever since I got the new transmission installed it seems like my car is noticeably faster... Especially 1st and third gear, they seem to pull a lot harder. Any theories as to why? Attarco told me that Japanese transmissions have extra cyllinders or something? I dont know much about cars... Help is appreciated, thanks!
I posted this kinda early this morning while everyone was *probably* asleep... So *bump*.
Thanks!
Thanks!
