Good Big Brake Kit for low price?
There are plenty of good brake kits out there, like the Brembo GT and all but they are way over priced, at least online. The cheapest two I've been able to find for a 99-01 Integra are Rotora for $1345.00 and StopTech for $1795.00. That's still ridiculous and when I get my ride I dont want to spend that much. Does anyone know where to find Brembo, Rotora, Wilwood, StopTech, or any big names for cheaper than a grand? Let me know. Preferably, I want the calipers blue, but I could get them painted myself if they can't be found.

Actually, i believe there is a banner on this site, that advertises Wilwood big brake kit, lines, calipers, rotors, and everything, for like 750 shipped. Could be wrong though.
I just skimmed over it really fast.

You don't even have the car yet? I'd just get a good set of pads, AZ or Brembo blank rotors, and possibly ITR/Legend/NSX calipers in the future.

yeah, integras stop well. but if you insist on having ultimate stopping power, i can get Wilwood's 12.2" 4-piston aluminum caliper kit for about $550, maybe $600 in a pinch.

cheap. easy. effective.

adds a bunch of weight, and the Wilwood kit isn't much more money, but also the Wilwoods won't fit under 15" wheels. if you're going to do this, save some money and get Accord V6/ITR/Accord Wagon calipers. there was a thread on here a while ago about how the ITR calipers provide more force than the 2-piston calipers. by like 20%, not just a little.

that's what i mean. it's the same procedure to use the itr/accord calipers.

You are incorrect and misinformed. The 12.2" kit does fit under certain 15" wheels.

oh yeah, great, it fits under a few. that doesn't really count to me if when you buy a brake kit you can't make it fit under wheels you already have. the chances of having one of the few wheels they fit under are like nil. i've never even seen anyone with any such wheels. if it doesn't fit under MOST or ALL, why say it fits? you'll still have to change your wheels.

My buddy got the kit for his 99 Civic EX and he had to put on 17" wheels.
Check the dimensions from the diagram to your own wheels.

I friend of mine who races Honda Challange races used
CRV rotors and legend calipers or something like that. THey look good, are big, and better than the stock
ALOT cheaper than wilwood, brembro, etc.
look around for that kinda set-up.

yeah, it's cheap. the pads are cheap, too. but you won't get the fade resistance that you'd get with even larger rotors and aluminum calipers. however, you will probably never need any better brakes than ITR-sized brakes. plus, the larger Wilwood rotors will probably take a hp or two for adding rotational inertia.
oh yeah, and i've heard that Wilwood's kit has a problem. sometimes, apparently, the outside pad likes to try to come out of the wheel
for Wilwood
i've also heard that wilwood has an 11" kit with the same 4-piston calipers. that would be sweet.
