90 Civic LX-Need help-no start
Was cruising at 40mph and car died with no warning whatsoever. Was running fine. Now it cranks fine but won't start. I hear the fuel pump running when cranking. All wiring and fuses looks fine. Pulled plug and not getting spark. How do you test/trouble shoot further? Just got the car and not familiar with it. Anyway of testing/troubleshooting the rest of the system? Anything to look for? This is a stock 90 Civic LX 4dr. Thanks
Dave

This is all you gotta do....replace your IGNITOR. Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago, i was just sitting at a red light when my car just flat out died out of nowhere, tried to start it and would just crankover forever. Went to Honda and bought an ignitor for $100 and it put it on my car and started instantly. Ignitors go bad on Hondas alot for some reason, there was actually a re-call a while back on alot of 91 honda civics.
Oh yea, if you want to save alot of money, i can tell you how to to replace your ignitor yourself since its pretty easy and how i recently did mine.
