B20B Swap help
I am doing a B20b Swap with a ITR head and was wondering two things. One, What head gasket should I use and two, can I use ITR connecting rods and crank in the B20B block? I would appercate any help on this.
why do u want to put itr crank in a b20 block?btw the headgasket u need will be a ls or b20 golden eagel makes a cr-vtec kit...make sure u have valve to piston clearance when u do that swap
I want a killer N/A Car and I heard that this combo will give it a 2.0 Displacement and I am going to run 11.1 to 1 comp. pistons, But if anyone has good ideas to build a nice engine, I would love to hear them. By the way, I own a 89 CRX Si.
build a lower comp. motor and boost it , then i can take my all motor car and whoop up on ya, hahaha, just search alot , find somthing that will find something to fit your goals and budget.
if u run a stright b20 u have 2lit of displacement.as far as comp..it might be possible if u get the newer gen b20 98-up higher comp..with a itr head u should be close to or around 11.1 with out touching the motor or head

Ok, so here's what my buddy's engine has, and he says he will sell it to me for $6500. B16a1 with cable tranny with crossed gears, CTR pistons, ITR Con rods, CTR Indurance Balanced crankshaft, ITR cam shafts, AEM cam gears, Spoon Balanced oil pump, Buddy club valves and valve springs, ITR Intake manifold and throttle body, CTR N1 Crank shaft, mugen valve cover, spoon kevlar spark plug cover, spoon header and Exedy clutch. Motor has 32000 miles on it and he got it new ( zero miles on engine ). I am seriously considering it, as he is not going to sell it if I don't want it. Anyone think it is a good idea??
