Default Door Lock Stuck

My passenger side door lock is stuck in the locked position. I can manually move it into the unlock but when I try and used the power lock to unlock it just gets stuck. It makes a weird ticking noise like its stuck on something. However, if I manually unlock it and then hit the button to lock it works fine so I know its not the motor. Any ideas what to look for after I take the door panel off?

i just had the same problem but with my ds door and my keyless wouldn't unlock the doors. you dont need to take off the door panel.. just go to the lock itself (the part that clicks to the metal hook in the door jam) and push it in.. i think it's white. thats what worked for me anyway...

Yeah, that's weird that it just fixed itself. I mean my car was sitting in my garage for about a month and when I went to take it out the door lock just got stuck. I'm hoping that since it broke itself it will fix itself. If not I hope the advice above works.

Taking the door panels off should identify a potential culprit pretty quick. It takes no time at all.

Ok, so i took the door panel off and sprayed some silicone on the locking mechanism inside the door. Works like a charm now. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
