Hey guys. I purchased my 96 GSR with a broken tranny housing and pulled the tranny a while ago. replaced the cracked case and reassembled the tranny. I didn't use any guides to put it back together as it was a simple matter of opening the case and replacing the side i just took off. So while it was open i took the shift selector rod out and replaced the oil seal. after i had it all back together i put the case on and closed it up. I found that the shift selector rod would only go in and out, but no rotation. Im about to open it up tomorrow to see whats up. Just wondering if anyone may be familiar with what i may have done wrong? I figure its something to do with the shift selector and not the gearsets as i didn't disassemble any of that. Thanks for any input.
