i just got into an accidnet with my car..i have bought the car for 2000 recently...im not trying to lose all the money ...any opions on what to do with it? here are some pics...only thing wrong is the front end and radiator is busted..overall engine and all works fine...interior is a nice blk leather.....ANY HELP OR IDEAS IS MUCH NEEDED AND APPRECIATED...

its gonna cost you alot of $$ to repair and paint. You could part your car and get back your 2k you spent to buy the car

 

do you have full coverage? thats about 700 or more worth of parts that i can see. Plus labor and paint. That sucks. Good time to find out how good you are at doing your own body work.

 

yea, do u have insurance and whos fault? Looks like u rear ended someone. If u have full coverge let the insuranse buy it from you than go back and buy it cheap from them than sell the parts.

 

If the frame is bent Id buy another DA and swap parts into that one. Then sell all the rest of the pieces and make some $$$ back. Black leather is rare.

 

Based on the damage seems like you rear ended someone, sorry I have to say most likely is your fault. For a $2000 car you probably don't have insurance for yourself either.

I would say based on the condition it is better to buy another DA and swap the useful part in there, something that is running bad in the powertrain but good in the body will be nice, or buy a DA with rear fucked up and move your rear end there.

Definately, i have a 91 DA, i love. If you ever want to restore the car, the best way to go about, i think, would be to buy another one and swap everything over, because len is right, black leather is rare, but on top of that, the frame very well could be bent.

And IMO, once a car has been wrecked, its never the same.

I'd say, part it out, and you could easily make your money back, hell, i could use some parts if thats your plan . But swapping it all over to another DA, i think would be alot of fun, and you could/would learn alot. Either way, you have alot of options.

Actually, my buddy, just wrecked his 91 DA, he got rear ended, and the other drive didn't have insurance/licence, and he's buying the car back from the insurance company, and taking out the tranny and motor (b16 and S1 tranny) And he's parting out the rest.

well swaping everything to a new DA sounds good..but i dont hvae all the right tools and time to do it.......i might juts part it out....but seems like no one needs parts i guess...if i strip it all right now i wouldnt know where to put it all...i have like no garage ...let me know what you guys think
