I have a jdm b18c with a non-lsd tranny in an Eg hatch. All i really have is intake and exhaust and I have cash sitting around so I thought a ITR tranny(lsd) would be a good upgrade. I'm just seeing what kinds of gains I would get in the quater, maybe drop a few tenth's? I dunno, let me know.

 

it depends on which model you get. i believe the 98 had a 4.785 final drive gear and the newer ITR tranny's have the same 4.4 final drive as the Si (someone correct me if i'm wrong).
i just got an itr tranny with the 4.4 fd for my 2000 si. i dont expect to be faster but i expect to handle a lot better my buddy already put one in his gsr and it feels like a whole new car in the twisties.

 

yea but any gains in the quater, ive heard that the stock gsr tranny is too long, and a itr will bring new life to it

 

lsd will help out with the launches. very crucial.
gears are closer.. vehicle will accellerate faster plain and simple.
