Default Took a trip to my "Importer", came back with goodies :)

I took a trip my source, and managed to snag some amaizing deals on some rare parts. If this is not the right place for this, then I guess the thread should be deleted or moved to appearance. But here goes.

Crx Rear Seats. Managed to get them complete with all rear panels for $100, condition of upper seats rerflects price.

I will redo the material on this part sometime next week.

I got both panels, in good shape.

Authentic Mugen spoiler, $75. It was cheap because the guy forgot about it on the day i bought all the body parts of the crx, so it should have been a part of the original package price. Btw, does anyone know if I can still order the original Mugen emblem that goes with this item ?? As well as the 2 emblems that go on the Mugen Pro Crx kit ?

Mugen Calipers and Rotors, on 4x114 type-r knuckles, $150 in exhchange for the other 4x114 front knuckles we bought from him a few weeks ago. Going on Wife's EK Hatch.. Yes, dont hate.

LOL at the "Mugen" calipers.

Are they 17CL14VN's or 17CL15VN's?

My set was removed from a 96 Type-R with mugen all over it.. but hey, what do I know, right. I guess a R owner from Japan, that buys all the goodies from Spoon and Mugen to upgrade his ride, just goes and paints his calipers to look like the mugens. Btw, the stainless steel lines were sold to someone else, they were a part of the kit too.

Btw, they are 16CL16VN

I'm not hating....but I just don't see the big deal with the "Mugen" calipers.

They're still Nissin, yes?

Cool

Did you not see the Mugen writing on the side, enough said. Cool points added. The effect is all seen in the wallet area.

The difference in the Mugen Calipers *may* be the number.

The ITR uses a 17CL15VN and the base Integra uses a 17CL15VN.

I've never seen (or even heard of) the 16CL16VN; I'm not sure if Honda uses this caliper.

Bottom line, though..it's still just a Nissin caliper with some graphics and maybe a powdercoat job.

Yes, that's what I meant. I didn't mean to type the same thing twice.

ITR= 17CL15VN
Integra=17CL14VN

The Caliper included in the kit (16CL16VN) is actually a new S2000 unit rebuilt and powdercoated by Mugen. Along with a custom bracket. The rotors are a mugen designed version of the 11.8 inch S2000's, but with the custom bolt pattern. Btw, maybe someone can identify the bracket as an OE part.

Didnt even notice the near new Mugen pads.

Its not really store, more like a private source that has agreed to fullfill some small orders for me on the side. I agreed to keep it quiet, or else he would no longer have the time or space in his containers for further parts. Sorry guys.

are the calipers dual piston? whats special about s2k calipers?

the rotors are what attract me quite frankly. i think its awesome they designed their own rotor. take a look, its totally different than any other rotor ive ever seen. its got the opening to the inner vanes on the outside to bring in cooler air than the inside.
