GREAT news!! I just pass my emission test today at the referee . The thing that sucks was that it overheated the first time because the fan wasn’t on. The result was the

25 mph HC: MAX 122 MEAS 20 CO: MAX .78 MEAS 0.01 PASS

25mph HC: MAX 122 MEAS 216 CO: MAX .78 MEAS 6.30 GROSS POLLUTER

Okay so what did you do to get it to pass smog?

 

Changed the catalytic converter with the exhaust, oil, spark plug, O2 sensor, Guarantee to Pass Emission Test from Pep Boy’s, and used the V POWER from Shell to clean my vacuum.

What octane did you use when you filled up? also can you post the rest of the numbers you got on your sheet? I have also done those same things last year....and just barely passed...I have since, though, replaced my wires and plugs and I believe that I would pass with a much better score....great job and thanks for the heads up. I will need to do the same for mine.</FONT>

 

First, I used V Power (91 from Shell Gas Station) to mix with guarantee to pass emission (product to help pass the smog test) from Pep Boy’s. After driving like 350 miles, I filled up with 89 premium to take the test at the referee. Before taking the test, I drove like 15 to 20 minuets to warm up my cat. Then my CRX pass with no problem.
