It is possible. I have remote start in my manual integra. Shops just wont do it cuz its dangerous if you start it in gear and they dont want to get sued. I use it all the time to trick people in tha parking lot and its helpful wen its cold outside.

Remote start is possible in any car. The reason why shops dont do it because of liability reasons. If you want remote start in a manual car, find an alarm designed for a manual and the shop will do it for you.

There were a few made, now I don't know of any now but I'm sure they exist. YES it is possible, I have it both on my EK and DA, you HAVE TO wire a CLUTCH BYPASS switch. The problem with it if you don't pay attention, you will find your car in the downstairs of your apartment building. Make sure you don't have any start timers on or anything that will allow the car to start short of YOU PRESSING THE BOTTON...OH....and DO NOT LEAVE IT IN GEAR LOL...I have watched my car hop across the parking lot because I forgot to take it out of gear.

cliff notes: definitely possible, POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS.
