What is the difference between a manual and auto B-series intermediate shaft for a DC Integra?

Yeah, Im having the same problem. Some say there are, some say there arent. And theres enough going in both directions that I dont know for sure. Im hesitant to buy one out of a manual from someone(also some dude was being really flaky with me about one that he wanted to sell me) because what if I buy it, and its the same exact thing? So until I know for sure...

the length and size is the same, whats different is the mount plate where the holes are..

the auto is angled differently around 3mm too much. so if milled it would work..

i did a auto to 5speed swap on my teg.

Is there any way you can show me what you had to do to it to make it work?

I know for a fact that there is a difference between the AT and MT Intermediate Shaft on a DA. I'd expect the same for the DC.

Yes, they are different. I did an auto to 5-speed swap, and I needed one.

I guess you could, as someone said they did above. However, they were so cheap at the salvage yards I went to. $20-30 average.

Yeah, but here there are no DC's in the salvage yards(u-pull-it). Id have to call a recycling yard(they-pull-it, where the better cars go...) and get *** raped most likely. I guess Ill call one to see whats up.
