Anyone running a ls tranny with a gsr 3rd & 4th gear?
nope, are you? How is it if so. I have the ls tranny right now, but I love my 3rd and 4th gears. 1st is too short, 2nd could be a bit longer, and 5th sucks (except for highway cruising.

i didn't like it...still seemed pretty long because of the final drive of course. disadvantage is your rpm climbs slower. probably be nice on a straight b20 turbo or a high hp turbo street car.

Have you tried the b16 hydro with GSR 3 & 4th with LS 5th on a turbo car with redline about 9200+? I am interested in this combination but some people think that its not practical for a highway, strip car?>
