1/4 mile times
I just went to the Orlando World Speedway last Wed and Fri night for the first time. I have a 95 gsr with an aem cold air, and tanabe super racing medallion, that I just got put on last wed. Out of 5 runs, my best time was a 15.41 @ 92.4mph, is this what I should be running, or should I be faster? I also want to know what is the next best mod I can put on, to get those times lower?
Peace...

my friend has a 95 GSR (OBD I) with just an AEM COLD AIR, and TANABA MED. Exaust like you, and he ran a 14.9 today at the track. OBD I tegs are strong, if you practice you could definately be low 15's high 14's. Good Luck.

i thought GSRs ran low-mid 15's stock?they do...15.4 is a mid 15 sec run dummy
running 15.4 with your mods and at the track is a pretty good time. Saying running with street tires right? *TIMES AT THE TRACK ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE STREETS!* Track times are much slower than the street because of traction!

I hit 15.1 in mine with custom ducting as an intake, good tires, and springs. This was at Orlando Speedworld. For your first time out 15.4 is very good...my best my first day was 15.8.
what's your 60'?
I ran 15.7@91 bone stock (2.39 60') with my '97 GSR. People say low 15's, but I think mid-high 15's will be what most people would run consistantly. Low 15's could happen, but I've never seen it with my own eyes. I ended up running 14.8@95 with some more spice. Most of my friends with I/H/E run low 15's@93ish. just some more benchmarking.

not bad, but that proves v-tec isnt everything. i ran a best of 15.5@88 in my obd-II GS. thats with just i/h/e. my first run was a 15.6 and backed it up with the 15.5
alot has to do with temp and driver. just my 2 cents

my car must be strong cuz i ran a 15.1 stock with no muffler, only reason for that is becase i bottomed out on the way to the track an f$%ed it up
All i put in was the "NOS octane booster" thats it!
I think the booster helped
I don't know what I ran stock, cuz I never went to the track until I got my mods. With CAI and Exhaust, you can be able to hit low 15's. Maybe even high 14's if you have a strong motor...
