Default MES (Memory Erase Signal)

I'm trying to reset my SRS light...I know how to do it (per the instructions found on HT) , i've found pictures of how to locate MES plug, but they seem to be for Accords... I have an EJ1 (94 eX coupe) ....anyway...I cant find the stupid plug...It says its under the glove box, but I can find ****. Any help would be gladly appreciated!

Diagram shows it under the left side dash, wires should be (2p) GRY,GRY or GRN,GRN. Diagram shows it is plugged in, you have to unplug it.

It shows it in a different location than the Service check connector on the passenger side.

I sent a the diagram to yoru email. Of course this is the only helms I have so if yours is different sorry, but figured it may be of some help.

it's definately near the fuse panel drivers side (under the column), and it's the yellow crap that signifies srs, but i don't recall the exact procedure. It took me 2 or 3 tries to get it to work.

good question. From what I have read no. But im in no way an expert, the only things I know about the system are whats in the Helms manual. It does say "do not use a jumper wire" but to use the SCS Service Connector 07PAZ-0010100 to erase the memory. Why I don't know, but they do specifically mention it.

why did the light come on in the first place? Just out of curiosity.

Dunno, It's been on since I got it. Just want to see if its something fixable (by resetting it and the light going away). If not, i'll take it somewhere to get it fixed.

The light will come on if you remove the guage cluster too many times, that's why mine came on. I am not sure on the potential for the airbags to deploy, that's why when i did it, I made sure that i was well below teh airbag's path, just in case
