Depending on what you have done to the car already you will probably only need a free flowing exhaust to help spool the turbo and allow it to breath better. The kit should include everything you need to run it safely. The only other thing the kit probably doesn't include is an intercooler (at that price). It's always a good idea to have one.

it can be adapted to fit a gsr you have to drill the manifold and tap it your gSr head. buts it not highly sought after kit. The 92-95 ex kit is great for sohc cars. I would reccommed you get a ecplise side mount intercooler and fabricate a intercooler setup also. This will also help you benefit and gain more power. With this setup in 95 si hatch i ran 13.8 so tis possible to gain some massive gains for cheap.

does that price of 1450 include intercooler? If not then you might want to buy one.

92-95 ktis actually dont come with anything just piping lines and turbo and manifodl its very basic but does the job. you can weld a bov flange and get a type s greddy for cheap.

B18turbo - but if i really don't want massive hp, lets say i want a conservative boost to get my car to run 14.2's or so - do i really need an intercooler? do i have to really pay over 1000$ more for a kit designed for DOHC?

I would just piece together a kit. Get a gsr manifold anyone really get a t3 wiht larger exhaust wheel. then make your own setup pretty simple just need oil line drain line and wastegate or use internal one if you can make it work.BOV use an ecplise one. all would come under 1k dollars if you can find the parts cheap.

Keep in mind that the 1.6 SOHC Greddy kits dont come with injectors...You could however run it with your stock injectors...and true.no BOV for Greddy kits...or IC's..An eclipse or Starion/Conquest would be ideal...good luck.

You don't need anything additional for it to bolt on and run on your car. I have the same kit on a 97 EX. I would recommend a blow-off valve (Greddy Type-S $180) and boost gauge (Autometer $45) though. You definitely want to stop compressor surge and monitor what you're boosting. I also got an eclipse side-mount intercooler and boost controller, but that's only because I wanted to boost more then 5.5psi. If you're happy with low boost, the BOV and boost gauge are all you need.

well, i plan to get an intercooler with the kit as i know that helps the turbo out alot more than without. so then, after the install.....i still have to get someone to weld on the BOV and intercooler? can muffler welding shops do that?
