lowering "issues"
I was wondering w/ drop zone coilovers and kyb/agx struts how they go togeather. One if it's a compatible combo, 2 if all the springs from the coilovers are supposed to be exactly the same, and if so why my car did not lower properly. I have a 92 prelude s, and it was installed correctly (I checked twice). also in the front are the springs supposed to be touching the struts(where the slits are for the start of the springs), or am I supposed to put the adjuster for the coilovers touching the bottom? all said and done the back lowered properly, and the back can be lowered further, where as the front lowered about an inch, with the coilovers set all the way down. If you have any ideas, or could help me out I would be very much appreciated.
only an inch??? hm... something must be wrong. well, i've never heard of those coil-overs so i don't know how they work as far as adjustabilty (it varies from brand to brand). if they're set all the way down and installed properly like you said, then you either got wrong ones but they somehow fit, or you got defective ones. AGX shocks are very good, they shouldn't make any difference. check with the shop where you got the coil-overs from. maybe they know a trick to those coil-overs... but that sucks though.
