Default Will a 99' civic Si arm rest fit in a 4th gen with a little modification?

I have no arm rest and I don't want to mess around with moving the e brake for the 94 and newer swap and was thinking about buying an Si armrest and modding it to fit. Anyone done this or see any potential problems with this swap? the e brake is in the center so it won't have to be moved. the armrest looks just like this one (and yes the hideous paint WILL be removed)
