Default HELP ME PLEASE

i hav an 87 honda accord LX and for some reason it won't start. It just died on th freeway and i had to have it towed home. i can't figure out what went wrong. please help me.

We can guess but there arent many people here that own a car pre 90...you could ask at http://www.3geez.com there are a lot more dedicated pre 90 members there than there are here, also, give some specifics, smoke, revs jumping, transmission stopped shifting, etc.

cars run basically on gas and sparks. if it would not start or run, check for either gas or spark. pull out spark plug and with wire still attached, check for sparks coming out from the spark plug - if you don't see sparks, it must have something to do with electronics - fuses, relays, disconnected wires, etc - try to ensure all the wires are plugged and fastened?. if you see sparks, check and see if you can smell gas coming out from the piston where you pulled the spark plug. if none, it may have something to do with gas delivery system. if you smell gas and see sparks and the car still would not run, I dont know what it can be.
