I need a new hood for an 01 lx sedan, the prices between the 00's and the 01's are significantly different, as is the part number. they look similar, would an 00 hood fit?

The 01 Accords have much more pronounced lines in the hood. Look at some pictures and you will see the 00 Accord hood is much flatter.

they change the front/rear bumper/grill on 01 02 sedan/coupe if you talking about exterior, i highly doubt about the hood.

They DID change the hood. He can use the 00 hood but the creases won't line up correctly with the grill.
