it should work... d-series with d-series. you may have to make sure it has the right sensors and stuff though. some manifolds have bungs on there that we don't need and some are missing bungs we do need so just be careful.

i don't believe so... if it were me i'd buy the manifold if its a good price and make it work if it's the best IM for the price and power for your car. you could get one that was made for your car then it definately will work. or just get a y8 manifold as they are shown to flow the best for stock manifolds and can be had for fairly cheap.

OBX?? Let me know how it works.

You could probably get a z6 or y8 intake for half that on ebay.

I'm not gonna diss OBX, some of their newer products are ok, but they have no quality control. That and they have a reputation for making cheap knock-offs.

I cant speak for the z6 intake, but you have to do a few weird things to make the y8 one work. Mainly cause the sensors are in different spots.

If you are looking for boost related answers I would say go to the forced induction area. Lots of info on that board.

again... i'd try the y8 mani for your engine. it makes an improvement and its cheap. if you look at the FAQ sticky thread on the top of the forum i'm sure you can find a "how-to" article on that. goodluck

thanks but i just picked up a ported z6 intake off of ebay, comes with a LS throttle body, obx fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pressure gauge. all that for under 110. if im not happy with it ill sell it, LOL

anyone know how the z6 and the y8 differ in flow.

i'm not positive, but i think the y8 has longer smoother runners. i believe the numbers on the flowbench are better for the y8 than the z6. but a ported z6 with bigger throttle body will probably work better. good deal by the way!
