Because the amount of time a person spends on the internet directly correlates with the amount of knowledge he possess LOL. I've been messing with cars since 1998 kid. Not a long time, but long enough to pick up a few things even basic controlled variable valve timing and lift (like VTEC even though I'm originally a VW guy).

no you cannot put on a vtec solenoid on the non vtec head. reasons is: there is no place to mount it to. gsr internals will not work in an ls head. the two heads are no alike..the list goes on.

OK, this is where we stop replying to your gay posts - Stop being a little bitch to guys on here for taking the effort to type something for your useless ***.

The VTEC solenoid may or may not mount to the head, but it won't activate anything. LS head lacks the oil passage ways, the correct cams, the LMA's, the correct dimensions, correct rockers, etc... I don't even know the anatomy of a VTEC head as I've never owned one - but I'll tell you, without a doubt, that the heads are entirely different (from word of mouth) and there is nothing for the solenoid to open or activate in the LS head.

 

on top of the vtec internals u need in the head, ls doesnt have a built in oil squirter.
