00-01 GSR = 2 o2 sensors + obd1 conversion = only 1 o2 sensor needed?
The above statement might be confusin
i have a 2000 gsr...there is one o2 sensor on the header and one o2 sensor on the cat...making it 2 o2 sensors...am i correct?
if you answered yes above...heres my next question...if i do a obd2b to obd1 conversion....does the o2 sensor on the header have to be installed? or can i leave it off? thats my main question..
Otherwise..do you guys think the conversion is a good mod if i get a good price on the ecu and harness? Thanks

I believe you keep the one on the header because that's the primary, you remove the one on the cat. That's the secondary.

Keep the one in the header. The one in the cat doesn't have to be removed, you can just keep it there and the OBD1 ecu will ignore it.
