That's a good site, but just in general, does discount tire have good prices or bad prices?

In general, Discount Tire and The Tire Rack both have excellent prices. And you can check both their websites for prices on any particular tire make, model, and size.

Okay are those prices only online or in store at my local discount tires? For instance the yokos are $58 a piece on the site, will they cost that much in-store? If so i will buy them there. I just dont want to pay like $35 shipping or whatever.

You'll have to ask at your local store. They will probably honor the website price; if the Tire Rack or some other competitor's price is lower, they may even meet or beat the lower price.
As with anything, shop around and find out the total price before making your decision. When you buy from a website, you usually (but not always) pay shipping (which, I've found, is typically $6-8 per tire). You usually don't pay sales tax unless the dealer has retail outlets in your state - which means you might pay sales tax with Discount Tire, but you might not with the Tire Rack (unless you live where they have their warehouses - Indiana and Nevada, I think). Call them up and ask.
Also, don't forget to find out the cost of mounting and balancing, which varies from one place to another. Some places charge $10/tire, others charge $30/tire, and others throw it in for free if you're buying the tires there. Some places don't mind mounting tires that were purchased elsewhere, others do. Sam's Club and Costco may mount tires cheaper than elsewhere. Also, the Tire Rack website shows several thousand recommended installers who can mount and balance tires for you (and you can buy the tires from the Tire Rack and have them shipped directly to them). Again, shop around, compare prices, etc...

if you are in TX, there is probably a Discount Tire on EVERY corner. we have over 600 stores now, and they will do whatever it takes to get you there. im pretty sure that on discounttire.com you can GET an installed price by entering your zip code, and it will give you a total price with tax.
hey, chris when i get out of "probationary status" i will message you, im an Assistant Mgr @ INI 01. (3 years now) i didn't know we were involved with this site, or i would have been on here a long time ago.
Thanks for everything guys, i will be hitting up my closest discount tires location(there are a million here) and i will get my tires there. I like discount tires, good guys w/ warranties and all that stuff.
