Exhaust Piping Size?? (alread searched!)
wanting to know what size piping would be good on my ITR for my future setup. im planning on going with crower 403's, full crower VT, cometic head gasket, ctr pistons, mugen 4-1 header, test pipe, about a 30" magnapack resignator(CA SUCKS
) and gonna go with a magnaflow oval muffler. just wanting to know if 2.5" crushed bent would be better or 2.25" manderal bent piping?
a buddy of mine thinks that 2.5" is too big for N/A even for the build im gonna do. so i thought i would get some outside insight on this. looking for positive comments and suggestions. and yes i already did a search and got some basic insight on it but wanted to see wat would be better for my exact setup. thanks!
Alex.

2.5" piping should be enuff for ur set up, my car has jdm itr header, carsound 2.5 inlet/outlet, 2.5" b-pipe no resonator, and jdm itr exhaust it run just fine but im gonna have to get resonator for it coz it soulds like a crap (mean)..
so go for ur 2.5" set up...

had almost the same exact setup, except i had a gsr head, i used a 2.5"... watch out for that combination... ctrs in my gsr and a stock headgasket.... i had piston to head contact.... sent my head to portflow and they were like " did you know you and an IN and ARROW marks on your head...."
