Default Where do these little thingies go???

EDIT: Its a hydro B-series LS tranny

Yes, that is my transmission. Yes, it is open. Yes, those came out of it. Where they go? We dont remember. Hopefully, you do. If you can identify those and tell me where they go, Ill be your best friend.

We had to swap cases because the one the tranny came in was cracked.

With all you guys giving each other the shocker, it's a wonder you get anything done around there.

Bump for this guy.

You sure about that?

They look like the spring and shim washers that go between the ISB and mainshaft first gear.

they were to small to fit there. they fit perfect on top of the bearing where the input shaft is. i still don't think thats where they go though.

*edit* just looked at a diagram we put them in the right place.

Those slide onto the mainshaft before you put the gear stacks back into the housing. The flat washer slides on first then the spring washer goes on after. For the spring washer, the inner circle must face the housing side. Didnt really know how to word that but I think you get the idea.

Just dont get them backwards or your tranny will bind up when you bolt the case all back together, trust me I know..

The order goes clutch housing - input shaft seal - input shaft bearing - spring washer (concave side faces up towards the gears) - washer - mainshaft gearset.
