pretty standard with swaps
take it to a shop and have them lengthen the pipes on the cat

How far are your header from the exhaust? Can you fit a cat?

If not go to a muffler shop and ask them to custom make you a test pipe so its still bolt on, and your catback wont be touched.

Downside is if your in cali, shops wont do it because of smog reasons and the fact that its illegal here. So you could also find someone with a header.

Welded or bolt on? Bolt on have them extend the end.

Make it work, or make it pretty. Pick one.

I would guess if the header you have on now doesn't fit than a 99-00 header would be too short as well. But you can try it. Like the other guy said, make it work or make it pretty. Besides, in a couple of months your cat is probably going to discolor and get some rust on it anyway. And no one will ever see your cat.

If you dont want them to cut any of you piping then have them make you an extra pice, or make it yourself......take and cut a 2 1/2 piece of pipe and weld 2 flanges to it...then just put it in the gap and bolt it up....You may want to get the bolts that have the springs with them because if not you may cause the bolts to break...Goodluck
