aem sri heat wrapped. you will notice your intake start to shrivel because the charger starts to pull in alot more air alot faster haha

I'd agree with bay, but use a weapon-r dragon sri. Dyno proven for more power to the wheels.

yeah yeah, I know weapon-r isnt the best, but if you're looking for more horsepower or faster 1/4 mile time, check out the website. An improt mag recently did a sri test for which sytem provides the most power and weapon r took it over any other intake. Dont remember the mag, but I think weapon r has it on their website

like it matters....first of all, an intake is an intake. second of all, it's supercharged. aka forced induction. brand name intakes won't make much of a difference.

i personally would probably go with a comptech icebox because it looks stock, and you can make your own for <$10.

Im owned by dyno proven parts. Intake does matter and if you're looking for that extra power, weapon r is the way to go. Who cares if comptech looks stock? WOW! I had a weapon r on my supercharged crx and it provided 4 more wheel hp and 2.8 ft. lbs more at the wheels than both comptech and aem. I used to have the aem and then bought a comptech thinking it'd be better. Wrong. Aem out performed the comptech and weapon r outperformed the aem. Do what you want, but if you're looking for more, weapon r is the way to go.

are you serious? 4 whp? WOW! dude, you can get 4 whp by driving on a cold day, and conversely, your almighty weapon AaaAARRrrgh will lose that supermega-awesome 4whp on a hot day. you can't even feel that. good driver with 150whp > bad driver with 200 whp, anyway.

IMO the biggest diameter short ram intake u can find.....the charger needs the air asap...think of the intake as being a straw the shorter n wider the straw the faster n more air it can compress....what i suggest is investing in a matching TB n Match porting everything including the manifold. im estimating moderate peak hp gains but an overall improvement throughout the whole powerband.

where's YOUR dyno plots comparing intake filters?

an import mag stating something doesn't mean ****... nor does going to a mfg website... OMG, you are really a gullable one. "oh my, honda tuning said i can make 10 hp from a johnson rod, it must be true"

brand names don't mean ****.... whether it be AEM, Comptech, Weapon-R or Greddy. if the product works, go with it. if weapon-r worked for you, it doesn't mean it will work for somebody else.

make a sri yourself, or like someone said, make your own icebox. no need to spend rediculous amount of money on an intake which will yield minimal gains, at best.

I've heard alot of SC users putting their filter right on the Throttle Body, eliminating the intake arm completely. In a FI setup, I don't see why any other setup would be faster than this---its like a bigass ITB..

Really? Do you think this may be the best option? I've been debating what to do about the intake for awhile now (currently I have a aem cai).

You here that dedonderosa? This bitch is calling you a bad driver! Dude said he wanted the most horsepower and whether its a hot or a cold day, the weapon r is still 4whp over the competition. Sure, 4whp isn't a lot, but every little bit helps. There are a bunch of better brands out there, don't get me wrong, but if you're looking for more power, which dedonderosa is, then weapon r is above the competition. Oh, and a good driver who knows his car, would be able to feel 4whp.
