Tein Hood Damper on cf hood?
ive talked with several carbon fiber manufacturers on this one.
1. i wouldnt do the hatch if you have a carbon fiber hatch. actually, ive been told to not use any what-so-ever
2. the hood, i would only use one. get a buddy to buy a set. you get one, he gets the other. they are meant to support pretty heavy hoods ... i.e. oem integra. and the average carbon fiber hood weighs at least half that of an OEM.
my $.02

good point. but i still think they are too strong for a carbon hood

The TEIN hood dampers throw the OEM hood up like it's made of cardboard. I can't even begin to imagine what they'd do to a carbonfiber hood.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I think im going to get it and try it out. I would like something that stabilizes the hood, plus holds it up well when I am showing the engine bay, I think it looks really cheap with just the driver's side held up and the rest of the hold bending over.
