seat won't stay up. keeps reclining....

anyone know how to fix this problem? when someone sits in the seat, it'll recline all the way down....

it's broke. time for something new.
However you may try taking it apart & checking the locking mechanism

those might be something that is covered under a lifetime warranty, but im not sure. i know my friends seatbelt was covered for the life of the car, i think that all the safety features might be.....
