Default GOD@!&* Woman drivers

well woke up this morning and went outside to throw the trash out and c this peice of paper under my wiper some chick hit my right rear quarter pannel right above the seam from the rear bumper. How hard are quarter pannels to fix this, ive heard u cant really fix them. this is kind of a bad pic cause it was so bright out but this is the damage. Thank god she left a note i would be livid if someone hit it and left me to pay for it

Too bad she can't be smart enough to not hit a parked car.

yup its part of the frame, dont unbolt. Usually, cut out of a good quater panel, weld in place of your bad part. Sucks. You could take it to a dent repait place, but it looks kinda bad.

Yes, be nice to the person who crashed into your parked car. She diddnt do him any favors, so hes got every reason in the world to be angry.

Yea she did do him a good favor by being curtious(sp?) enough to follow the law and leave the note......

He is very lucky to not be assed out of about 500 bucks worth of damage

yours is nothing, my neighbor backed into my quarter panel once, it was way worse than yours.

Anyway, the bodyshop told me it would be best to replace the quarter panel, meaning drilling out the spot welds and welding on a new one.

The bodyshop did a pretty good job and it still looks gread.

As long as you didnt get hit and run, just be thankful.

Heyy.. i wouldn't be singling out women drivers specifically. I've been in 2 accidents, and 50% of them were caused by a guy(1 out of 2 haha). So in my book...guys are just as bad as girls, and my brother has totalled two cars in a year.

I agree, you were lucky with the whole note thing, be thankful for that. I would deffinetly disagree about the rapair cost though. I estimate it to be more like a grand or a little more. I was rear ended last summer and there was no visible damage, but estimated cost to fix was 600 bucks. Your damage looks rough! Good luck with that bro!

As a woman driver who underwent the same situation not too long ago (except a guy hit my parked car), it's actually easier to go about it this way because they usually want to pay cash and not mess with insurance, which takes forever.

the same **** happened to me on my driver side... now the rear quarter panel kinda goes in and the middle piece between my bumper and my hatch is misaligned, plus it was a hit and run. so consider yourself lucky

i have to agree at least she was nice enough to leave a note. yea she could have been a hell of a lot smarter by not hitting your car. but just think of how pissed you would have been to just see your car no note and have to come out of your pocket for the expense.
