i am looking for a short shifter. a couple of my friends just bought those ones off ebay and cut them. i know it makes the throw shorter but i don't know if it is that good. i was thinking about getting a B&m short shifter but i dont wanna spend extra money if cutting one will do the same thing, please let me know what you think. thanx

get a good one, my ebay shifter broke at the ball after being on my car for over a year... left me stranded and i had to change it in a chic-fil-a parking lot
