So I just got a OEM front lip from Handa Accessories and when I got it is was gloss black because they didn't have any Satin Silver ones left
So anyway when i got it it looked great, perfect paint, very glossy almost like a mirror. I almost felt bad taking the sandpaper to it. But I had to to paint it SSM.

So then I

Completely sanded it done with 600
Wiped it down thoroughly with tack cloth
Painstakingly painted it with 4 coats of SSM from Paintscratch

Once I was done with that I clear coated it, but this is where I sorta got disappointed. Even with the clear coat on it it still has a very satin finish to it and is not glossy like the rest of the bumper, so it doesn't look that great or match at all

So paint experts I need your help/opinions

Is their anything I can do to get a better clear coat/shine on it?
Do they make a special clear coat especially for plastics?
Are their any special brands that work better than others?
Did I miss anything when painting
