HELP what size tires should be used for best 60'/and suspension needed HELP
I'm new at sport compact racin so I need u guys to shoot me in right direction. I have 92 civic stock body no interior w/ a b20/vtec 20psi setup, running skinnys on rear what is the best size tire?I have 2 thoughts run larger diameter to get more meat on track and advance cams to pull extra gearing and suspension ummmm dont know, i do have thoughts about running solid struts on rear to preload front and but unsure...So u guys that have done it, talk to me >>>>Thanks for all input Rad
I was referring to front tire diameter not rear! This car can run 7's in 1/8 no problem . I have a mustang w/ Turbonetics thumper 2000hp so I know cars just asking some input so I dont have to do as much trail and error.

I think I was able to figure out ur question; you prolly want to start w/ a 24.5 X 8.5 slick for the times you are running. If we knew your power and drivetrain combination might be able to help you more here. As for suspension, put 1000lb springs in the back so it doesn't squat.
thanks for input, t3/t4 , was I right in assuming I will have to play around w/ cam degreeing to get in the power range that my combo will hook? I post results soon
