Are the b16a's from the sir1 and the sir2 the same size? i mean physically..

what do you mean? the sir1 was the ef's the sir2 was the eg.now the motor was a b16a1 in the sir1 and an a2 in the sir2 and the 2 had almost a 10 more hp diff.and it came with a hyrdo so if you mean displacement its the same, but the motor is the same "size"..

 

thanks the reason i ask is cause that bracket (rear) is becoming a big ordeal on my swap.. i know that the 90-93 teg is suppose to work.

yeah hopefully i recieved some bad "physical examples" of what a 90-93 rear bracket looks like. maybe the kid didn't know what he was showing me. i talked to the guy that sold me the motor and he assured me that he didn't swap out the rear bracket for the sir1 one. man i'm getting burnt out on this swap. its been like 3 weeks

 

youll get it man just dont give up itll be worth it!!
