Default EG DX d15b motor into EF civic....

Can I take my d15b from my 1993 honda civic dx and put it in a 1990 Honda Civic EF? Bolt on and plug and play? Thanks

The story is that i'm buying a mint 1990 Honda Civic Si, the only problem is that the motor is knocking. So I want to take my d15b from my Honda Civic DX and put it in the 1990 Honda Civic. Let me know if its easy to do. Thanks

What D15B is it? All D series motors will bolt in but if it has like VTEC or anything you have to wire that, but since you are buying a Si it has MPFI so thats done. You can do it but what motor is it?

the motor in the 1993 Honda Civic DX is a D15B non vtec, the motor in the 1990 Civic Si is a D16A6 vtec. The d15b is OBD1 and the EF is OBD0, would I just need a conversion harness?

Yeah you need to convert it to OBD1, or you can leave it OBD0.
