well i just went out to my integra to go somewhere and when i started up the motor..there was a weird noise...it drives fine...but in higher rpm's the noise gets really loud...its coming from the right side of the motor....my friend say its the timing belt...but it looks fine...when it idles its a screeching noise......and when i drive it screeches louder.....any clues...?

its one of the belts...the lower one..its not moving at it.......

 

A similar situation happened on my brothers accord, it was caused by a bad water pump.
Although any spinning accessorie could be the culprit, i suggest checking out the alternator/power steering pump, and possibly the a/c.
Basically over tensioning of drive belts, cause the bearings or the accesories or waterpump to go bad, and when this happens you get a screeching sound.

 

it was an a/c pulley ..took it out for now....
