Rode a cruiser yesterday.
I kind of understand the appeal now. It was not much heavier than my scooter (Rebel 250) but the seating position was just a lot of fun.
It's definitely a bike I'd like to have in my garage, but not the only bike obviously. I want to teach my woman how to ride, but don't want to do it on the SV or its possible replacement, which will have a high seat too. This would be so perfect...hmmm.

yea i always wondered what a goldwing rider would do if they went down
i took the MSF course about a year ago and i was on i think a suzuki gz250, kinda like a rebel 250. i wouldn't be able to say i had a lot of fun on it, at most it was an interesting experience. i wouldn't mind getting one though if i used it strictly for cruising on the fwy.
