Default Progress springs

i just put some progress springs on today (used)...and i hear stories how they tuck and all...but soon as i put the car back down...there are still gaps...(rolling on SI rims..i was just remembering do i need to take the dust cover off and cut the bump stops in half...or is that only with coilovers.....please let me know ASAP..oh yea this is on a 95 coupe

the bump stop has three sections, cut the top section off. that is why you see gaps on the car. the bump stop is resting on the struts when it should not be.
