STOCK
Dyno: 181 to the wheels with stock gs-r exhaust/cat at http://www.dynospotracing). Easily could make 200s with new exhaust, a better intake, and hondata tuning. Just look at the dyno! It was made with 3 pulls, ONLY, and the only thing adjusted were cam gears ONCE (no uncut valve cover, so it was a hassle to remove it everytime), and timing adjustments.
Tranny:
Exedy clutch (replacement when stock was going out, have original)
ACT Streetlite flywheel (have original)
GM Synchromesh FM
Suspension:
KYB GR2 shocks (replaced 2 months ago, have originals)
Stock ITR Springs (replaced 2 months ago, have originals)
Tires are meaty with about 85% tread
Brake pads are in great shape, with brembo blanks front and rear.
LIFETIME brake pads from MIDAS!
LIFETIME alignement from Berkeley FIRESTONE!
Interior:
ITR CF bezel
Not yet installed:
Virgin p28
Hondata s200 with datalogging (Brand new in box)
Walboro 255 LPH Fuel pump (Brand new in case)
Hawk Rear brake pads (Brand new in box)
Lightning Motorsports OBD2a-OBD1 adapter harness (Brand new in case)
*All these parts will come with the car, as well as all stock pieces!!!!*
A lil history about the car:
I bought it back in February of 1998. I've been the single owner for the car's entire life. I have religiously maintained it and done all scheduled services ahead of time but only replacing worn parts with quality parts. I still have all of the receipts for service. Unforunately, the head work/receipts were stolen out of my car along with my CD's (why they'd take that, I have no clue). I still have the original window sticker AND instruction manuals in a nice leather case.
I have kept most of the old parts (just to prove they've been replaced), along with the boxes for the new items I had installed in the car. So you can count on:
Timing and all other belts (replaced 90K with Power Enterprises, have old parts)
Cap and rotor (replaced 5K ago)
NGK plugs and wires (10K ago), second time (50K and 95K)
Oil every 1500-2000 miles (Have receipts to prove it, up until I lost my job, then I did it myself)
Tranny and Coolant (every year)
Front/Rear Brakes (have the old ones, too)
Fuel filter (replaced with clutch @ (90K)
The bad:
driver's door is keyed (1 foot mark)
front and rear bumpers have scratches from people missing when they parallel park (it's in SF). rear bumper has a pretty nasty smack on it.
suspension squeek (from front. Needs new bushings for the buttom a-arms).
typical interior rattles
no spare tire cover
Mechanically, there is nothing wrong with it except for the bushings that need replacement. Engine runs STRONG as ever. In fact, it recently passed smog with the cat on at a test only station!
Reason for sale: I just want a new car, that's all. I do not want trades, unless it's a 2005 Subaru Forrester or Legacy turbo.
If you're interested or have questions, give me an email @ jtchen22@yahoo.com
If for any reason photobucket isn't allowing the pictures to be shown, email me, and I will send you all 12 pictures of the car. I can also invite you to view it via Ofoto.
I am not in that much of a hurry to sell it. You could easily sell all those new parts for almost 500 dollars, so please be reasonable with your offers. You would also get ALL of the stock parts that I have (I'm pretty sure you could sell those things, too), and a few OEM oil filters and a case of 5-30 oil that I haven't used yet.
Thanks for looking!
