Default Opinion of box sizes etc for my subs and amp.

I currently have the newest version of the Kenwood Subs 12 inches X 2 listed here. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/prod...D2594

And one of their 800 watt(peak) amps. Anyway I listen to techno and rock and I'd like something that hits pretty quick and accurrately(for 12's) insted of something that is drowning to the music. I listen to rock and techno type music.

Pretty small. Enough to vibrate when loud. I was wondering what would be best for the subs that I have and the way I want it?

Thanks.

id reccomend a sealed application as it seems your going for more sq purposes.

as far as size, not sure, get the specs on your subs and reccomended box size, and then figure out how much room you have.. and go from there

A sealed enclosure would be best for RESPONSE with the music you listen to. A slot vented enclosure would be best for output, but listening to techno, you will shred your subs. Just make sure you have the bass at a decent level so you're not overplaying them. You do know techno is the sub/midbass killa don't you???

I say go with a ported box and adjust the power on the amp to get the sound you want because you will want it louder in the future you always want bigger and better and a ported box is the best all around but if you do not car about having it louder later just use a sealed box less quality on the sound, just a personal opinion though

Ported boxes=high group delay.
Unless the guy has a time correction function in his HU that may be a problem. For techno especially.
